2012 Carolina Mtn. Jamboree and Installation Rally
The 2012 Carolina Mtn. Jamboree and Installation Rally was held again at the Palmetto Cove RV Park, in Cleveland, SC. from Oct. 17 – 21.
This year the primary host was our Western North Carolina Unit. There were about 40 Units present from Western North Carolina, Palmetto State and North Carolina Units. Bob Griswold presided as MC and Carol Griswold sang the National Anthem. Dick Martiny installed the new officers from the Western North Carolina and Palmetto State Units.
The entertainment was well chosen by Carolyn Rosendale, everyone was impressed by Bob and Carol Griswold’s Travellog Slide Show presentation and the “Games” produced lots of laughs. The meals were delicious and all the cooks deserve extra credit.
It was again, a special Rally to also form new friendships and reinforce old ones. Our thanks to Western North Carolina and Palmetto State Units for all their hard work to make this Rally a success.
