2011 Carolina’s Mtn. Jamboree and Installation
THE CAROLINA’S MTN. JAMBOREE AND INSTALLATION RALLY WAS HELD ON OCT. 12 – 16, 2011 AT PALMETTO COVE RV PARK, CLEVELAND, SC.
It was hosted by the Palmetto State Unit with support of the Piedmont and Western North Carolina Units.
Attending guests from the following units: South Carolina Coastal, Eastern North Carolina, Carolinas unit of NC, Georgia, Florida, South Florida, Florida Treasure Coast, Louisiana, and New England.
The Installation for the Palmetto State, Piedmont, and Western North Carolina Units was officiated by Region 3 Board 2nd Vice President Dick Martiny and his wife Judy.
Intl. 3rd Vice President John Stumpf and his wife Sandy introduced the location of the 55th Intl. Rally site Sedalia, Missouri, June 27 – July 4, 2012.
Everyone had a marvelous time and kept busy with a tour to the Hagood Mill Historic Site, exploring Pickens SC, Cesar’s Head State Park, Pretty Place. The chefs, pitching in from all units, prepared delicious dinners and desserts. Games at the “Day in the Park” had many surprises in store. WNC unit with Carolyn Rosendale at the helm served a superb grilled hot dog lunch with all the fixin’s. The evening entertainments delighted all that attended. And what a “Fashion Show” that was! The silent/live auction proofed very entertaining and successful. A meaningful Sunday Service by Dick and Luci Norris closed the Rally.
A big THANK YOU to the hosts and participants and the abundant sunshine, that made this rally the success it was.
